Fields wins medalist honors again | Girls golf

Coupeville golfer Christine Fields easily won medalist honors at the Blue Boy Golf Course in Monroe Monday, May 5.

Fields racked up 31 points in modified Stableford scoring, finishing seven points ahead of runners up Meghan DeWolf of South Whidbey and Shelby Ruiz of Sultan.

South Whidbey defeated Sultan 114-58. Fields is the only Coupeville golfer, so the Wolves did not qualify for a team score.

Fields will play in the Cascade Conference championships at noon Monday, May 12, at the Snohomish Golf Course.
