Fields grabs medalist honors | Girls golf

Coupeville High School golfer Christine Fields captured medalist honors at Useless Bay Golf and Country Club Monday, April 28.

Using modified Stableford scoring, Fields earned 29 points, three more than runner up Rosie Portillo of South Whidbey.

Fields is the only Coupeville golfer, so the Wolves did not figure in the team scoring.

South Whidbey defeated Archbishop Murphy 75-42.

Fields competes at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, May 1, when South Whidbey meets King's at Mill Creek Country Club.
