Cascade Conference honors 12 Wolves

Twelve Coupeville High School athletes earned all-Cascade Conference honors for the 2013 spring season.

Three were first-team choices: baseball juniors Ben Etzell (pitcher) and Kurtis Smith (outfield), and softball sophomore Hailey Hammer (infield).

Earning second team honors were senior soccer players Nathan Lamb (midfield) and Luke Pelant (fullback), baseball junior Morgan Payne (infield) and softball sophomore Madeline Strasburg (outfield).

Receiving honorable mention were three softball players, senior Bessie Walstad, junior Madi Roberts and sophomore McKayla Bailey; and two baseball players, junior Jake Tumblin and sophomore Aaron Curtin.
