Hailey Hammer's single with one out in the seventh inning spoiled a no hitter by Sultan's Shelby Jeffries as the Coupeville softball team fell 10-0 to the visiting Turks Thursday, April 18.

Jeffries struck out 12 in her second one-hitter this week.

Her battery mate, catcher Rachel Kirkpatrick, also assisted offensively with three hits, two doubles and five RBI for Sultan (6-5, 7-6).

The Wolves (3-6, 4-6) play first-place Lakewood (8-3, 9-4) at home at 4 p.m. Tuesday, April 23.
