The Central Whidbey Sportsman's Association is offering two more chances to attend classes in its series of shooter training and safety education classes.
Two hunter education classes will be offered in September. Each course consists of four sessions on consecutive days. One class begins Wednesday, Sept. 5 and the other begins Wednesday, Sept. 12. Classes will meet from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday for each course. Attendance all four days is mandatory to receive credit.
There is no charge to attend these classes, but donations will be accepted to help cover the cost of the materials. For information and to preregister, call instructors Sam Weatherford at 360-914-0354 or John Boling at 360-969-2440. Online registration is also required by the state of Washington at wdfw.wa.gov/hunting.
All sessions will meet at the CWSA clubhouse, located just south of Coupeville off Highway 525.
