Feb. 26, 1930 – March 24, 2016

Gordon R. Givan passed away on March 24, 2016. He was 86 years old.

He is survived by Jean, his wife of 66 years.

He was the much-loved father of three sons, Gary, Bruce and Scott, and daughter Rebecca.

He is also survived by two granddaughters, three great-granddaughters and one great-grandson.

Gordon was active in his church, singing in the choir and playing his violin.

He also served as an elder.

He also sang as the barber in “The Barber of Seville” at Whidbey Playhouse.

He served three years in Korea as a Marine.

He loved to grow tomatoes and raise roses. He was an amateur radio operator.

He will be greatly missed.

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, April 9, at the Coupeville Community Bible Church, 502 NE Otis, Coupeville.
