No OLF flight operations scheduled Sept. 14-20

No Field Carrier Landing Practice operations for aircraft stationed at Whidbey Island Naval Air Station are scheduled at the Outlying Field Coupeville, Wash., Sept. 14-20, 2014.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, Sept. 9 and 10, FCLP training at OLF Coupeville is scheduled in the late afternoon until early evening. On Thursday, Sept. 11, FCLP training is scheduled for early afternoon.

Flight operations are subject to change due to weather, operational and/or training requirements.

Residents living in Coupeville and around the OLF should anticipate an increase in jet noise.

NOTE: NAS Whidbey officials have identified key summer dates flight operations will NOT occur at OLF. These dates are:

  • Saturday, June 14 through Monday, June 16
  • Friday, July 4 through Sunday, July 6 for the extended Independence Day weekend
  • Friday, Aug. 8 through Sunday, Aug. 10 for Coupeville’s Arts and Crafts Festival
