Sickly domesticated duck visits Coupeville park

The following items were selected from reports made to the Coupeville Town Marshal’s Office:

Friday, Dec. 14

9:19 p.m. — A caller on N. Main Street called to report a suspicious incident that took place earlier in the evening.

8:34 p.m. — A caller from a business on S. Main Street reported a person had come in and out of the store several times wearing a medical gown, mask and gloves.

7:07 p.m. — A caller on S. Main Street reported two subjects on the west side of the building have come inside the location multiple times and were acting strange.

3:02 p.m. — A caller on NE Hawthorne Place overheard several students talking about a party that was to occur after a varsity basketball game and that there was going to be drinking involved.

1:01 p.m. — A caller on NW Coveland Street by Coupeville Town Park said a large, domesticated duck was in the park. The duck was not eating and looked weak.

11:46 a.m. — A caller reported a suspicious person at Highway 20 and Libbey Road. The caller said a person in a red plaid sweatshirt and a hood was approaching parked vehicles.

10:46 a.m. — A caller on NE Seventh Street requested assistance making a bank drop. The caller requested an officer escort them to the bank.

 

Thursday, Dec. 13

1:43 p.m. — A caller at N. Main Street reported a woman in the laundromat was “going ballistic,” yelling, screaming and grabbing the caller’s laundry.

 

Tuesday, Dec. 11

7:07 p.m. — A caller on N. Main Street reported the upstairs neighbors lock their dog in the closet every day and the caller can hear the dog scratching.

4:57 p.m. — A caller at S. Main Street reported her daughter’s arm was injured by a truck driving by while she was in the crosswalk.

 

Monday, Dec. 10

7:44 a.m. — A caller at Smugglers Lagoon Lane said there was a woman on the property refusing to leave when asked.

7:27 a.m. — A caller on Bob Galbreath Road reported a vehicle had run into a tree on a road behind the Clinton Dairy Queen.
