Weed board needs volunteers

Volunteers are sought for four-year terms on the Island County Noxious Weed Control Board. Current openings are for District III, from Race Road to Freeland, and District IV, from Freeland south to Clinton.

Duties include attending quarterly meetings, regulating the duties and direction of the Weed Control Coordinator’s position and making decisions regarding noxious weed control.
