State parks gain friends group

At a meeting attended by about 20 people last week at the Coupeville Library, it was announced that the new friends group was forging ahead and the process of taking the first baby steps began.

Admission to the Island County Museum will be free the entire month of April, the Island County Historical Society announced last week.

Members of the Coupeville Lions Club will gather at Prairie Center Red Apple and Whidbey Island Bank in Coupeville to raise funds as part of the annual Lions White Cane Day from April 29 through May 7.

Bicyclists gear up for Kettles Trails events
