Crowds gathered Saturday morning for the start of the annual Coupeville Lions Club Garage Sale. As usual, with the blow of an airhorn, people scrambled to grab items they found during Friday’s sale preview. Coupeville Elementary School was filled to the brim with items from tables of hand tools, larger electric tools and table saws to bikes, furniture, housewares and decorative pieces. All proceeds from the sale go to fund the club’s charitable projects throughout the year. Lions will soon begin collecting items for next year’s sale.
