Fine art and fun Friday at Greenbank Farm

October 3, 2012 · 11:26 AM

An opening reception to meet sumi artist Angie Dixon and glass artists Robert Adamson and Janis Swelwell will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 5 at the Rob Schouten Gallery at Greenbank Farm.

After a 10-year hiatus, this will be Dixon’s first exhibition of new work. Dixon combines the traditional expression of Asian brush and ink painting with her own expression, using traditional materials in non-traditional ways.

Also featured is the handblown glass art of Robert Adamson and Janis Swalwell, who have pursued their love of handblown glass for more than 40 years.

This exhibition occurs in conjunction with First Fridays at the Farm Art and Wine Walk.

All the shops and galleries will open late, the artists will be in attendance and Baby Bahia will be there playing tropical jazz.

Normal hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Daily.
