Hunter safety course planned

The Central Whidbey Sportsmen’s Association is offering four opportunities to participate in its series of hunter training and safety education.

Hunter education classes, each consisting of four sessions, will be offered Aug. 8 through 11; Aug. 22 through 25; Sept. 5 through 8; and Sept. 12 through 15. Course times are available at cwsaonline.org and clicking on the calendar link. Online registration for these classes is also required by the state of Washington at wdfw.wa.gov/hunting.

All sessions will be held at the CWSA clubhouse and range located 2.5 miles south of Coupeville on Safari Street, just north of the Navy's Outlying Field.
